"Pat" or "Jack") - Passed away peacefully on Thursday April 23, 2015 in his 99th year at Spruce Lodge, Stratford. Formerly of Seaforth, he was predeceased by his parents, James Patterson and the former Florence Howden, his beloved wife Donna May (Bell), brother Frank and Ruth Patterson and his special friend Beatrice Riley. He is lovingly remembered by his sons, John Jr. and Gwen Patterson of Bayfield, Allan and Donna Patterson of Burlington and daughter Dianne and Ray Beattie of Wallacetown. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jason and Kim Patterson, Shannon and Geoff Patterson, Kim and Todd Rowsom, Kevin and Stacie Beattie and Kristen Beattie. He will be fondly remembered by his 7 great- grandchildren, Mackayla and Rachael Patterson, Miles Patterson - Pitchford, Karter and Tanner Rowsom and Jakson and Aislyn Beattie. John was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. John was a member and elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Seaforth and later on, in his faithful life, at St. Andrews, Stratford. He was an avid curler and lawn bowler, and will be remembered dearly on the various curling rinks and bowling greens on which he enjoyed his leisure time. To the staff at Spruce Lodge, your support and care for John was so sincere and compassionate, and we thank you for everything you have done for John and our family during these past years. She was born August 22, 1914 in North Dakota, USA, eldest daughter of the late Lloyd Walter Kendall and Grace Isabelle (Frood) Kendall. She is survived by her children Wilfred Bonville (Chris), Deloris Wiwcharuk, Ruby Gaines (Earl) and Keith Storey (Noreen). Grandmother to 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 15 great -great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law Roberta Storey, Dorothy Kendall and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Robert John Storey (1980), by sons Herbie Bonville in infancy, Eugene Bonville (Margaret), Arthur "Buddy" Bonville, a daughter Joan Beckett, daughter-in-law Diane Storey, son- in-law Eli Wiwcharuk, a great- grandson and a great -great- granddaughter. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by brothers and sisters Alfred in infancy, Homer Kendall (Bernice), Lloyd Kendall (Mina), Floyd Kendall, Alvin Kendall (Bertha), June Isabelle Kendall, Lila Nora Campbell (Vincent) and Luella Meise (Henry). Cremation will take place with interment in Floral Cemetery, Saskatchewan. A celebration for family and friends will take place at Seaforth Manor on Sat.
