Obituaries Obituaries CONNOLLY, Murray (Sod) Michael - At his late residence in Kippen on Saturday, April 4, 2015, in his 57th year. Beloved husband of Alison (Blommaert) Connolly. Dear father of Amanda Connolly, Daniel Connolly and Braden Connolly, all of Kippen. Brother of Maureen and Don Cole of Exeter, Pat and Stephanie Connolly of Oshawa, and Eileen and Dave Wise of Washago. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Connolly. Murray was a passionate farmer in the Kippen area all of his life and was owner operator of Algoma Tire for 18 years. William "Bill" Mitchell of Seaforth, was in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Walker) for 64 years. Loving father of Alex Mitchell and his wife Pat of Fort Erie, Nancy Jones and her husband Norm of Cobourg and Bill Mitchell of Brampton. Cherished Papa of Brian and Matt, Kyla and Liam, Mary Ann and Paul; and Great -Papa of Alexis and Olivia. Also missed by his three brothers, John, Walter (Mary), Tom (Becky); sisters- in-law, Betty Mitchell, Margaret Mitchell, Noreen Prout, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his daughter- in-law Angie Mitchell; parents Alexander and Agnes (nee Kirkland) Mitchell, and by siblings, Alex, Sadie (Sam), Jim, Archie, Andy and Danny (Ina). Cremation has taken place and memorial visitation will be held at Egmondville United Church, 26 Kippen Rd., Egmondville, on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of Bill's memorial service to celebrate his life at 11 a.m. Pastor Stephen Hildebrand will officiate and a reception will follow in the Church Hall. Debrah Ann Sallows of Vanastra was in her 54th year. Loving spouse and best friend of David McKenzie of Vanastra. Cherished mom of Ryan and Carrie, Denim and Karen, Asher -dee, Jagger, Mitch; and Grandma of Zack, Dominique, Abbey, Brodie, Ellis and Wrinkels. Debbie will also be dearly missed by her mom Annie Sallows; and siblings, Dianne, Heather, Rob, Ted (Marie) and Dave. Predeceased by her brother Jimmy Sallows, and Doris Chambers. At Debbie's request cremation has taken place and private burial will be held at Baird's Cemetery at a later date. (Wyly 36itf Obituaries Obituaries SHELLEY ANN BLOCKA It is with very sad hearts that we announce the passing of Shelley Ann Blocka on March 7, 2015 after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her husband Art and good friend Vicki. Shelley was born August 20th, 1962 in Port Albert, Sask. to Mike and Anne Blocka. Shelley is survived by her loving husband Art Glanville, his sons John (Jeanine) Glanville and Kyle Glanville and girlfriend Aerial. Also by her siblings and their spouses, Rose (Pete) Vantriet, Arlene Myers, Terri (Walter) Krushelniski, Leonard (Linda) Blocka, Ron (Terry) Blocka, Don (Verna) Blocka, Dave (Diane) Blocka, Brian (Angele) Blocka, Cathy (Brian) McIntosh, her brothers-in-law, Lloyd (Mabel) Glanville, Alex (Gail) Glanville, Ken (Betty) Glanville, Lorne (Bonnie) Glanville, Roy (Karleen) Glanville, Les (Cathy) Glanville, sisters-in- law, Marjorie (Richard Horst), Eileen Duncan and Marleen (Don Hill). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews too many to mention and a very large extended family. Shelley was predeceased by her brother-in-law Dwight Myers and nephew Ken Myers, also by her parents Mike and Annie Blocka. A Celebration of Shelley's life will be held on Sunday, April 19th, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Kinburn Hall, RR #2 Clinton, officiated by Bruce Whitmore. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date at Memorial Gardens in Prince Albert, Sask.
