A nursery -party (trade roll, and'
beginners)• was held in the church
basement on Wednesday afternoon
sponsored by the stewards of the
'Christian Home, The program con-
sisted of: prayer by Mrs. ,George
Jarmuth; a . film, "Joy - To the
World," with script read by Mrs.
Edgar' 'Elligsen;' children's story
read by' Mss. Ronald Hinz; adult
story ,liy„Mrs. E. J. Fischer;' fin-
ger plays and. singing by pupils -of
the kindergarten and several :reci-
tations. Lunch was served and gifts
distributed.
The annual 'Christmas Sunday
School program, will ;be presented
at St,Peter's Lutheran Church on
Christmas Eve. The . juniar choir
will sing carols from 7:45 to ,8.
o'clock.''
On Sunday evening,, Dec. 27, the
senior choir will present a Christ-'
inas 'cantata,• with 'Rev: Erick
Schultz, the -organist.
A large crowd attended the
dance at the Community Hall here
on Friday evening. with Desjar-
dine's orchestra supplying 'the
usic :-There' will be another

orchestra providing the ::music.

Ervin J. Wiltert, well-known Hen-
sall resident, who died at his home
Thursday; Dee. 17, with a heart
seizure: In his 72nd year, be was
born in Stephen township and

Hay township council for 13 years
