attend .a meeting Of the Evening
Auxiliary in Hensall on Monday
evening, Nov. 9, and everyone was
invited to 'attend the WA bazaar,
yvhich is being held 1 the, school
room" of the church at Kippen on
..Nov. 21. •

ual Aid" and spoke briefly on

her husband were in' Kentucky and

gave the courtesy remarks and
Rev. McMillan closed With prayer.

The fimeral. service for Ernest
M. Knox, of Hulett township, was
held at the Beattie Funeral Horne,
Clinton, on Thursday, with Rev.
Henry A., 'Funge, .. of Londesboro
United Church officiating.

Jack MeEwing, Wafkon Reid and

Death came :-suddenly on Mon-
day evening, Novernher 2," after an
;illness of almost three • weeks ' in
Se,ott Memorial Hospital, Seaforth.
A 'son of the -late Mr. and Mrs.
George Knox, he was born: on
April -17, 1905, in Hulled Tovvaship.
• He was a member of the Burns
United Church • arid ,later of •the
Londesbaro United 'Church.
He: -is survived by his wife, the
former Beth Shobbreolc; a daugh-
ter, Myrtle; and a son, Melvin.
