The, chamber had, also been in- strumental in the building of a new Post :Office and in 'the formation the Scouts and -Cubs: Atresent ofP they were trying to interest, a .den- tist in opening a practise' in ` the community. The chamber have donated $500. to the arena. - Special guests in - the meeting,, whioh was held in the Legion Hall, included: • Deputy Reeve J. Tasty Eating' Review chievement Mr. Fiford introduced Mr„.Spear-* man: to the meeting, and said he would' be takingover the Hensall Observer -r on July 1. Mr. r. S ar-man thanked the m nlers for in- viting him to the meeting; and said he hoped he would enjoy the same e support now given to r: the a Mr., Fiford ,tanked Mrs: `Rannie for thework and co-operation she had given for, the paper, also Mrs, Davis for the work she was now ` doing. The paper had -been a great venture for the Chamber. The re- port showed that at the end of the year they would break; even.
