W. H. Daunt. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reg- inald Baxter, of Arkona, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Campbell Eyre, of Kip - pen. The church was decorated with baskets of white and pink snapdragons and white mums. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white organdy, with lace bodice over taffeta and styled with a tiered bouffant skirt. A pearl and sequin headdress held her fingertip veil and her elbow - length gloves were of lace. She wore pearls with matching ear- rings, gift of the groom, and carried a white Bible, crested with Sweetheart roses and white streamers. Mrs. James Lamb, of Wayne, Mich., was matron of honor, wearing a yellow gown of or- ganza over taffeta. Mrs. Ray Lee, Seaforth, sister of the groom, wore a turquoise dress of the same material. Miss Anne Marie Baxter, niece of the bride, wore a rose pink waltz -length gown of the same material. Linda Baxter, niece 29. Before the ceremony, the soloist, Mrs. Fred T. Sercombe, sang "The Lord's Prayer," and during the signing of the regi- ster, "We At Thine Altar Stand." Organist was Mrs. By- ron Herrington. The bride's mother wore a jacket dress of blue embroider- ed brocade with matching hat and corsage of pink Sweetheart roses. The mother of the groom wore a dress of magenta faille with white hat and corsage of white carnations. The bride's going -away cos- tume was princess styled mag- enta embroidered in aqua with white hat and navy accessories. Her flowers were white feather- ed carnations. • After the wed- ding trip to Eastern Ontario, the couple will reside on the groom's farm, near Hensall. BRUCEFIELD Mrs. L. Airiano and son, Geno, are visiting with rela- tives in Montreal. Mr. and Mrs. Aldie Mustard and family spent Sunday with Mrs. Mustard's sister, Mrs. Geo. Pinkney and family in Walker- ton. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Scott and son, Ronald, spent the week- end with Mrs. Scott's sister at Leamington. They were also at Kingsville to see the many thousands of wild geese. Mrs. E. Forrest spent last Tuesday in London. Mr. David Triebner is on a hunting trip up north. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Scott, Mrs. William Scott, Mrs. C. Ham and Miss M. Swan attended the fun- eral of the late Mrs. John Beat- tie, Seaforth, on Saturday. We are sorry to report that Mrs. Douglas is under the doc- tor's care at her home.
