ing a bazaar, bake sale and tea
in their church this Thursday
afternoon, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m. The
ladies will appreciate your pa-

Bend, ' is visiting her daughter
and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R.
Taylor, of Chiselhurst.
Miss Margaret Mousseau is a
patient in Clinton Public Hos-
pital.
Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Eyre, a
recent bridal couple, were hon-
ored at a reception held in the
Arena auditorium Friday eve-
ning, which was filled to capac-
ity, and were presented with a
well-filled purse of money. The
presentation address was read
by Jack Upshall, and gifts pre-
sented by Gerald Bell. Norris
orchestra furnished music for
the dance.

does many imitations—imitates
a crow and a cat, whistles for
the dogs, and many others.

meeting, Mrs. R. M, Peck,
whose group was in charge, pre-
sided. Mrs. J. Ferguson and
Mrs, C. L. Jinks conducted the
devotional. The second chapter
of the study book was review-
ed by Mrs. Grace Harpole and
Mrs. R. McAllister. Mrs. T. C.
Coates sang a pleasing solo,
with. T. Sherritt accompanist.
Slides and a commentary on
Korea by tape recording were
presented by Mrs. Laird Mickle
and Mrs. Peck. The slides and
tape recording were sent by
Miss Marion Current, the mis-
sionary for prayer. For the busi-
ness period, President Mrs. .E.
Rowe presided, when a motion
was passed to send a Christ-
