Peter's Lutheran Church, under
the leadership of Miss Audrey
Priestap and also piano pupils
of Miss Priestap, entertained on
the Elaine Cole show, CKCO-
TV, Kitchener, on Friday after-
noon.
A shower was held in the
Community Hall on Saturday
evening for Mr. and Mrs. Ron-
ald Getke (Carole Rose). Mrs.
Hugh Osborne read the address
and they were presented with
money. Edighoffer's orchestra,
of Zurich, played for dancing,
and lunch was served in the
basement.

bor." Secretary and treasurer's
reports were read. A short bus-
iness period was conducted.
Thank -you cards were read and
donations accepted. The meet-
ing closed with a hymn, prayer
and Common Doxology. .

Hold Piano Recital
Last Wednesday evening the
piano pupils of Miss Audrey
Priestap presented a recital at
the Community Hall here for
the parents. The following took
part: Beginners and Grade 1:

Janice Dietz, Bob Kistner, Lin-
da Dietz, Karen Rock, Bob Rock;
Audrey Hodgert, Joanne Prue -
ter, Starr Fischer, Gwen Beuer-
mann, Margaret Elligsen. Kar-
en Rock received the prize -for
the most points during the year
for this group.
Grades 2 and 3: Gloria Die -
gel, Sharon Dietz, Shiela Dietz,
Linda Bauer, Ronald Koehler,
Phyllis Hinz, Beverley Sholdice,
Ronald Koehler and Alvin Hicks
(who was absent for the recital)
were tied for the prize for the
highest points during the year
in this class.
Grade 4: Ruth Ann Diegel,

received the prize for the high-
est points for the year in this
class.

tendance during the year.
Miss Priestap and her mother
served lunch and Mrs. Fergus
Horan and Mrs. Norman Better -
mann, on behalf of the pupils,
made the presentation of 5 gift
of sheets and pillowcases to the
teacher.
