25. In Memoriam
MELADY—In loving memory of
a dear husband, Joseph Francis
Melady, who passed away six years
ago, July 4, 1955.
The dearest husband the world
could hold,
The cheeriest smile, a heart of
gold,
And those who knew him, all
will know,
How much I lost six years ago,
Always a smile instead of a
frown,
Always a hand when one was
down,
Always so true, thoughtful and
kind,
What a wonderful memory he
left behind,
—Always remembered and sad-
ly missed by his loving wife,
Marie. 24-73x1
Those things that come to the
man who waits seldom turn out
to be the thing he's waiting for.
Isn't it peculiar that middle age
always starts a few years earlier
for the other fellow?

FARM NEWS OF HURON
The intermittent showers and
cool cloudy weather make for very
difficult hay operations. The cur-
ing of hay is slow and what is bal-
ed or in the mow is of poor color,
A number of farmers haven't start-
ed to hay yet because they are
waiting for good weather. All other
crops, with the exception of corn,
are good. Corn is beginning to
show improvement, both in growth
and color.
