25. In Memoriam
McCLUNG—In loving memory of
a dear Husband and Father, who
passed away one year ago, May 11,
1960, in Seaforth.
Through tears we watched Jou
suffer,
We saw you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful, free from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer so again.
Our hearts still ache with sad-
ness
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you, Sam,
No one will ever know.
—Lovingly remembered and sad-
ly missed by his wife, Leyden, and

A wealthy tourist lost her pedi-
greed poodle while stopping over
in a small town. She inserted an
ad in the Lost -and -Found column
of the local newspaper, offering
a $100 reward.
She returned to the newpaper
office the next day to see if her ad
had brought any results, but the
only one there was the office boy.
"For goodness sakes," she ask-
ed impatiently. "Where is every-
one?"
"They're all out, Ma'am," the
boy replied, "trying to find your
poodle."
