Friday, November 11th at 10:45 a.m.

Representatives of Organizations who are presenting wreaths
are asked to be at the Legion Hall by 10:30 a.m., in order to pick

The Parade will leave the Legion Hall at 10:45 a.m., headed
by the Seaforth Highlanders Band, arriving at the Cenotaph at
10:50 a.m.

Following the Service, the parade will proceed via Victoria
and Goderich Streets to Main Street and south past the Post Office
where the salute will be taken by Captain J. R. Spittal.
Services to which the public are invitedwill be
held at 10:15 a.m. in the Legion Hall, arranged
,by the Seaforth Ministerial Association, and in
St. James' Roman Catholic Church preceeding
the Service at the Cenotaph.

Mrs. Tozn Laing .attended the
Women's Institute area convention
as a delegate from Staffa Institute,
held in London.
Mrs. Ferg McKellar and, Mrs.
Don Wallace, of Seaforth, with
Lin McKellar on Monday.
Mrs. Wilson, of Shakespeare,
was guest speaker at the Women's
thankoffering service on Sunday
afternoon. Mrs. Wilson spent a
number of years in India as a
missionary, and gave a very in-
teresting account of her work
among the people there.
Mrs. M. Houghton visited Tues-
day afternoon with Mr. and Mrs.
Ross Houghton and family in Strat-
ford.
Miss Janet Allen is a patient in
Stratford Hospital, having under-
gone an operation. We wish her a
speedy recovery.
R. E. MeNAMARA
Russell Edward McNamara, of
Riverside, passed away Monday at
Westminster Hospital, _London, He
was 62.
Formerly of Seaforth, he is sur-
vived by his wife, the former
Madeline Boug; brothers, Frank,
St. Marys; Milford, Buffalo.
The body rested at the Bennett
and Pincombe funeral home, Lon-
don, with Requiem High Mass at
9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawr-
ence Chapel, Westminster Hospi-
tal.

Miss Helen Davidson, who is on
the staff of the Globe and Mail,
Toronto, leaves November 17 fox
Paris, France, where she will act
as secretary to Mr, Ooakley Dalg-
leisch, who is attending t he
UNESCO there,
Miss Anne Tbilpott and Miss
Henrietta Burton, both with the de-
gree of S.R.N. and $.C.M., and
Miss Elinor Smith and Miss Sheila,
Owen, 'all nurses, are guests of
Miss Helen Pryce and Mr. Ed.
Pryce. They intend going to Col-
lingwood to continue their profes-
sion.
Miss E. Cardiac) has returned to
Seaforth after spending a month
in Victoria, B.C., and Calgary,
Alta.
Mrs, Margaret Lamont return-
ed home after three weeks in Galt

Albert Ausman and family.
Ronald Mason, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Harvey M. Mason, Seaforth,
was pledged to Sigma Alpha
Epsilon fraternity at St. Lawrence
University at Canton, New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hildebrand,
Mr. and Mrs. Ally Hildebrand and•
Mrs. Mary Hildebrand attended the
Snider - Worach wedding in Kit-
chener *last Saturday.
Mrs. Alvin McDonald and Lynne
of Walton, and Mrs. 11. V. Work-
man spent the weekend in London,
the guests of Mrs. F. R. Parsons.

SDIIS, was in London Friday, at-
tending the Southwestern Ontario
Headmasters' conference.
A party of Seaforth hunters left
Saturday for Northern Ontario. In-
cluded in the group are C. Row -
W, C. Moore, John Mode -
land, B. R. Thomson, J. E. Keat-
ing, Wm. Leyburn, Robt. Wright,
Dave Thomson and Harold Jack-
son.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Grierson
and Miss Vera Dryden, of Guelph;
Mr. and Mrs. Dave` Paton, David
and John, of Erindale; Mr. and
Mrs. D. J. Hillis, Jennifer and
Peter, of Ingersoll; Miss Marilyn
Hillis, of Tillsonburg, and Dr. and

weekend visitors with Miss Mabel
Turnbull.
Mr. Bruce McMillan has return-
ed from a hunting trip in North-
ern Ontario.
Mr. 'and Mrs. J. H. Grant and
family, of Waterloo, spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. McLean
Mr. James R. Scott and Miss
Katie Scott spent the weekend at
their home here. -
Mr. Douglas Rowcliffe is a pa-
tient in Scott Memorial Hospital,
where he recently underwent an
operation.
Mrs. Fred R. Parsons, of Lon-
don, has returned to her home af-
ter spending a few days last week
with Mrs. H. V. Workman.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams and
family, Whitby, spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Williams.
Mr. Art Devereaux and Dr. T.
Melady, Goderich, are hunting this
week at Barrow Bay
Mr. and Mrs. William Scotchmer
who have spent the past three
weeks with friends at Belmont,
Guelph and Toronto, have return-
ed home.
Hold Shower
For Bride -Elect
Mrs. Glen MacKenzie- was 'hos-
tess at her home Saturday even-
ing for a miscellaneous shower for
her sister-in-law, Mrs. Earl Neeb,
of New Lowell, a recent bride, at-
tended by relatives and friends,
who presented her with many love-
ly shower gifts. Miss Sandra Mc-
Gillivray, of New Lowell, read the
presentation address to her sister,
and J. Eiler made the presentation
of the gifts.
A social hour was enjoyed and
lunch served, the tea table being
attractively centered with red ros-
es and flanked with pink tapers,
with pink and white streamers sus-
pended from the ceiling,
