Pastel and white gladioli and
ferns formed the setting in Trinity
Anglican Church, Mitchell, Satur-
day, Sept. 17, at 4:00 p.m., for the
wedding of Janet Ruth Ann, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. John Edmunds,
Mitchell, to Allen George Bell, Kit-
chener, son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Bell, Niagara Falls. The rector,
Rev. Frank Tomkinson, officiated
at the ceremony. Mrs. William J.
Fuller, Mitchell, was organist, and
Fccompanied the soloist, Mrs.
rank Kling, Seaforth, aunt of the
bride, who sang "Wedding Prayer"
and `I'll Walk Beside You."
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a formal gown of
white chiffon over net and taffeta
with wide band of Guipure lace,
outlining the neckline. The basque
bodice was styled with brief
sleeves, and the floor -length bouf-
fant skirt was flared.- Her pearl -
sprinkled fingertip veil of bridal
illusion was held by a beaded bow,
and she carried a cascade of pink
roses and stephanotis with ivy and
streamers.

School marched. at Exeter Fair on
Thursday afternoon. Miss Marilyn
Marshall has returned to •her
teaching duties after having spent
a Week in Washington.
WEDDINGS
bridesmaids were Miss Edna Mon-
tague, Reg.N., Thamesford, and
Miss Barbara Cook, Mitchell, cou-
sin of the bride. They wore simi-
lar ballerina -length gowns of royal
blue silk taffeta, fashioned with
draped bodice, sweetheart neck-
line, pleated cummerbunds and
bouffant skirt, narrow -at the bot:
tom, with side and front pleats.
The attendants wore bands of white
baby chryanthemums in their hair
and carried cascade bouquets of
pink roses and white chrysanthe-
mums.
Claude Swayze, Niagara Falls,
was best man, and the ushers were
Jerry Bell, Niagara Falls, brother
of the bridegroom, and Wayne
Pauli, Kitchener.
The reception and wedding din-
ner were held in the church hall
where the bride's mother receiv-
ed, wearing a honeycomb silk
