FINNIGAN Over two hundred relatives .ai4 friends ,met, at the home 9f Mr,. and Mrs. W. J. Finnigan, Igmond- ville, on the occasion of 'their 50th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Finnigan were married June 15, 1910, in Toronto. Shortly afterwards they returned to the village of Egmondville, where Mr. Finnigan was a popular general merchant for 35 years. He retired ten years ago. Mr. Finnigan is a native of Ash- field, the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert ,,Finnigan. Mrs. Finnigan is the former Jean- nette Mackay, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Mac- kay, of Tuckersmith. Five sons and four daughters were home with their families to observe the anniversary. There are 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Congratulatory messages were Mrs. Elliott Walters is spending a month in Wiarton. Rev. and- Mrs. R. H. Williams and family, of Mt. Clemens, Mich., are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. M. McKellar. Mr. and Mrs. K. F. - Rutledge were weekend visitors with Dr. and Mrs. W. R. Bryans. Miss Ann Troutbeck and Miss Phyllis Bryans' returned to Toronto with them for a week. Mr. Franklin Bryans has receiv- ed word that be has successfully completed his first year in .pre - medicine at University of Western Ontario. Mrs. James Hill had a visit from her grandson, 'David W.
