The 24th annual reunion of the
descendants of the late William
Harper and Janet McPhersp_n was
held in Russeldale Hall on Satur-

and Mrs. W. J. Finnigan, Igmond-
ville, on the occasion of 'their 50th
wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Finnigan were
married June 15, 1910, in Toronto.
Shortly afterwards they returned
to the village of Egmondville,
where Mr. Finnigan was a popular
general merchant for 35 years. He
retired ten years ago.
Mr. Finnigan is a native of Ash-
field, the eldest son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Robert ,,Finnigan.
Mrs. Finnigan is the former Jean-
nette Mackay, a daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Mac-
kay, of Tuckersmith.
Five sons and four daughters
were home with their families to
observe the anniversary. There
are 26 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
Congratulatory messages were

a month in Wiarton.

and family, of Mt. Clemens, Mich.,
are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. M.

returned to Toronto with them for
a week.
Mr. Franklin Bryans has receiv-
ed word that be has successfully
completed his first year in .pre -
medicine at University of Western
Ontario.
Mrs. James Hill had a visit from
her grandson, 'David W. Hili, and
Mrs. Hill, of Portage La Prairie,
last week, and Linda Jane and Jo-
anne Marie, great-grandadughters
of Mrs. Hill. Mrs. Edwin McGavin,
of Windsor, also visited with her
cousin, Mrs. Hill, on Saturday.
Miss Gladys Thompson has re-
turned from Toronto and Niagara
Falls, where she visited friends.
Mr. Glenn Gemmell, a former
resident of Tuckersmith and a bro-
ther of Mrs. Victor Lee, was a
guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lee last
week. He is a student of the min-
istry at Pembroke.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stewart
and daughter, Heather, of Toronto,
were guests of his mother, Mrs.
Harry Stewart, Over the week-

Clinton Juveniles beat Seaforth
8 to 2 Saturday night at the re-
creation grounds. Clinton started
'off in the first with four runs.
They continued in the second with
two and one in the .fourth.. Sea -
forth 'scored their first run in the
third, fdllowed in the fourth with
one more, the only runs for the
locals in the game.
Clinton scored once in the fourth
to make the final tally 8-2.
