The bride wore a beige suit with
green accessories and a corsage of
red roses. She was attended by
Dianna Kitching, of Windsor, cous-'
in of the groom, wearing a mauve
suit with white accessories and a
corsage of white carnations,
Don Sawohuck, Windsor, was
best man.
The wedding dinner was held. at
the home of the bride's aunt and
uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hor-
ton, Clinton. After a honeymoon
in the States the young couple will
reside in Windsor.

The bride wore a blue sealskin
wool suit with white accessories
and corsage of pink Delight roses.
She was attended by Miss Barbara
Jackson, Stratford, wearing a pink
checked suit with white accessor-
ies,
Charles Scherbarth, RR 1,. Born-
holm, was best man.
' A reception and wedding dinner
followed at the bride's home:
Friends of the couple, Bonnillhar-
ker, Diane Rose, Sharon and Carol
Elligsen, served the' guests, and
Mrs, William Rose and Mrs. Lawr-
ence Barker assisted in the kitchen.
Mr. 'and Mrs. Elligsen will re-
side on the bridegroom's farm, RR
1, Bornholm. Guests were present
from Windsor, Kitchener, Gode-
rich, Brodhagen, Mitchell and sur-
rounding district.

A pretty wedding was solemniz-
ed at Holy Angel's R.C. Church,
St. Thomas, on Saturday, May 14,
at 10 a.m,, when Miss Margaret
Rose Murray, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Gilbert Murray, RR 1, Dub-
lin; exchanged wedding vows with
Mr. Daniel Fran.cis Costello, Kit-
chener, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan
Costello, Dublin. Father Frank
White officiated, and Mrs. K. Mc-
Cann played traditional music;
Mrs. Ben Flanagan, of Kitchener,
singing "Mother All Beautiful,"
"Ave Marie," "Panis Angelicus"
and "On This Day." 'The church
was decorated with white mums.
--The bride; given in marriage by
her father, looked lovely in a floor -
length gown of cloud white silk or
ganza over taffeta with a fitted
bodice and a V-neck, featuring a
sabrina neckline, trimmed with
Alencis Lou and seed pearls. Her
bouffant skirt was also appliqued
with lace and seed pearls. A tiara
of French brilliants and seed pearls
held her shoulder -length illusion
yell, She carried a prayer book
centered with a white orchid and
stephanotis with streamers and
white mother of pearl.
Miss Betty Murray, of London,
sister of the bride, was maid of
honor, wearing a frosted agua silk
organza over taffet and carried a
cascade of yellow carnations. Miss
Mary Murray, of London, also a
sister of the bride, was bridesmaid,
wearing a
frosted ted lem
on silk
or-
ganza over taffeta and carrying a
cascade of blue carnations. Both
wore matching headdresses,
Gordon Costello, Toronto, was
best man. Ushers were Joseph
Murray, Toronto, and Jack Cos-
tello, Dublin.
A1•vedding dinner followed in the
Seven Dwarfs at London.
The bride chose a Scotch tweed
suit with olive green accessories,
a white flower hat and an orchid
corsage for a honeymoon trip to
'Niagara Falls and ' the '.Eastern
States. On their return the couple
will reside in Kitchener. Guests
were present from Toronto, Sarnia,
Kitchener, Dublin, Brantford,
Drumbo and Londn,

emnized the. vows, and traditional
music was supplied by Mr. Gordon
Morrallee, organist.
The bride's parents are Mr. and
Mrs, Ernest A. Coombs, of Brant-
ford, and the bridegroom is a son
of Mr. William' Earl Mills, of Wal-
ton, Ont., and the late Mrs. Mills.
For her wedding the bride chose
a waltz -length gown of lace and net,
styled with a Sabrina neckline and
lilypoint sleeves. Lace rose inser-
tions accented the bouffant skirt
sprinkled with sequins. Her finger-
tip veil was caught to a crown
headdress accented with droplet

Miss Audrey Coombs' was honor-
ed at several showers prior to her
marriage Saturday to Mr. William
Murray Mills,

showers Were Mrs` Benny Larocque
at the bride's home, 67 Ninth Ave.,
Mrs, Howard Sharp at R.R. 7,
Brantford, and Miss Barbara Tur-
ton, of 31 Mintern Avenue. At the
latter the bride was presented
with a steam iron from her bowl-
ing team mates.
Miss Norma McInnis, of 63 Wal-
ter Street, arranged a • kitchen
shower, and Mrs. William Staf-
ford, of 76th Seventh Avenue, a
towel shower.
A linen shower was held at the
home of Mrs. George Smeaton, 59
Wayne Drive. Attending were the
bride's fellow -employees of the
Cockshutt Farm Equipment Ltd.
Mrs. Ernest Coombs entertained
at a trousseau tea in honor of her
daughter. An arrangement of pink
and red roses centred the tea table
with silver appointments.
The bride assisted "'her mother
in receiving the guests. Mrs. Wil-
fred Swanson poured tea, and _tea
room assistants were Mrs. Nor-
man Dunham and Mrs. William
Stafford.
Friends or the bride displayed
the trousseau and wedding gifts.

are Mr. and Mrs. Isaiah M. Mar-
tin, RR 3, Wallenstein,
The bride chose a ballerina -
length gown of ivory flocked nylon
over white, fashioned on prineess
lines, with an empire waistline,
peter pan collar and lllypoint
sleeves. She carried white fea-
thered ' carnations.
Matron of honor, Miss Rebecca
Steckle, sister of the bride, wore
a street -length dress of aqua flock-
ed nylon over taffeta. Bridesmaid
Miss Pauline Steckle, Kitchener,
was gowned in yellow flocked ny-
lon over taffeta.
Howard Martin, Wallenstein, was
groomsman, and Stuart Sltee1de
and Aden Brubacher, RR 3, Lis-
towel, `ushered guests.
For travelling, the bride donned
a blue polished cotton dress, blue
sealskin topcoat, beige and white
accessories and corsage of pink
roses. The couple will spend the..
summer in voluntary service at
Calling Lake, Alta.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dexter
will celebrate the 50th anniversary.

French blue lace and silk organza
fashioned the identical frocks worn
by the attendants. They featured
Sabrina necklines, two bows at the
front midriffs, and full skirts. They
wore mohair braid headdresses in
leaf design: with veils, and carried
bouquets of butterfly Sweetheart
roses, white mums and white car-
nations, -
Mr. Al Craig, of Toronto, was
best man. Ushers were Mr. How-
ard Hackwell, Mr. Ernest Coombs
and Mr. Nolan Hoffman.
For a reception in the church
hall Mrs. Coombs appeared in a
beige lace sheath with beige ac-
cessories, and complementary cor-
sage of orange delight roses. As-
sisting in the receiving line was
the bridegroom's sister, Miss Jean
Mills. A corsage of pink carnations
and white hyacinth bells enhanced
her frock of navy chiffon worn
with white accessories.
Followingra honeymoon in the
Eastern United States the couple
will take up residence at 401 Grey
Street, Brantford.
The bride's travelling costume
was a beige lace sheath topped
with a brown persian lamb jacket
and brown accessories. A Sweet-
heart rose corsage complemented•
her ensemble.
Out-of-town guests were present
from London, Ont., Walton, Sarnia,
Toronto, Kitchener, Guelph and
Tillsonburg district.
The bridegroom is a graduate
of the Ontario Agricultural College,
Guelph.
WINGHAIf UNITED CHURCH' -was the setting for the wed-
ding of Mr. and Mrs. "Murray Christopher Dale, on April 30th.
The bride is the former Muriel Fay Gowdy,daughter of Mrs,
Nelson Gowdy, Wingham, and the late Neson Gowdy. Mr,
Mr. and Mrs. Verne Dale, R.R. 1, Clinton, are parents of the

Rev. Father McCowell officiated at
the double -ring 'ceremony.
Regena, given in marriage by
her father, wore a floor -length
white taffeta gown with flower ap-
plique at the neckline and on the
skirt, with lily pointed sleeves. She
carried a small bouquet of white
gladioli buds.
--Miss Cleo 13owman, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor, wearing
a blue taffeta -floor-length gown
with a white headband and gloves,
and a bouquet of gardenias. Miss
Julie Walsh, Dublin, was flower
girl, wearing a white floor -length
nylon gown with a blue sash.
Joseph Whaling, of St. Pauls,
was groomsman, and George Smith
of Zurich, and Frank Whaling, of
St. Pauls, were ushers.
Eleanor Marie, given in mar-
riage by her uncle, Mr. J. L. Ma-
lone, RR 5, Seaforth, wore a floor -
length gown of silk taffeta with a
flower applique at the neckline and
on the skirt and with lilypointed
sleeves. She carried a small bou-
quet of white gladioli buds,
Miss Beatrice Maloney, of Kit-
chener, was maid of honor, wear-
ing a blue taffeta floor -length gown
with a white headband and gloves
and carrying • a bouquet •,of. white -
gardenias. Miss Joann- Maloney
was flower girl, wearing a white
floor -length gown with a blue sash.
Steven Maloney, of Lindsay,. was
groomsman and Michael Maloney
'Was usher.
Miss Siobharh O'Donnell, of Lon-
don, was soloist.
Following the double ceremony
a reception was held in the Sea -
forth Legion Hall. Guests at the
wedding were present from Lind-
say, Kitchener, Montreal, London,
Brantford, Chicago and Milwau-
kee.
The bride's mother received the
guests wearing- a green floral
sheath with white accessories and
a corsage of bronze mums. The
groom's mother wore a blue en-
semble with a pink corsage.
Mrs, James Whaling donned a
coral flowered dress with a coral
three-quarter length linen coat and
beige and green accessories and a
corsage of cream roses for a wed-
ding trip to the States. On their
return they will reside in. Strat-
ford. The bride is a graduate of
Stratford Teachers' College and is
now teaching in London.
Mrs. Raymond Joseph Maloney
donned a beige walking suit with
green accessories and a corsage of
gold roses for her travelling cos-
tume. They will reside in Dublin,
