PARR LINE • FARM FORUM
Parr Line' Farm Foruin; held at
the home' of ,Mr. and Mrs. Stew-
art Blackwell, discussed "Adjust-
ment Through Farm Credit.' • A
majority of the members felt that
the new Farm Credit Act meets
the needs. However,, some felt the
interest on. -large loans would 'be
burdensome, and that too much
collateral was need.
The group believes that each.
farmer is an individual case and
that supervised credit should be
given to those not able to obtain
credit. A small percentage of far-
mere' in this area, would not quali-
fy because of age or lack of down
payment.
Euchre winners were: ladies,
Mrs. Ross Love and Mrs. Charles,
Robinson; men, Keith Love,and
Glen Weido, The next meetinwill.

The: employer had lost his
patience. "Look here, Jones,', he
'said, meeting the incoming em-
ployee, "how is it that you are
never on time any more?"
The employee hesitated, "Well,
boss,' -he finally said, "it's really
your 'fault in a way. You've drill-
ed use thoroughly on overwatch-
ing the clock there, that I've Jost
the habit' of watching it at home.".
