Mrs. Anne Ellen Simpson, wife
of the late Crawford Simpson, of
Egmondville, died Monday at Scott
Memorial Hospital, Seaforth. She

John Doig and Ellen Stuart Mc-
Kay, of Tuckersmith, In 1904 she
was married to Mr, Simpson at
I1`ensall. She was a member of
First Presbxterlaa .Church.
Surviving her, are one daughter,
Mrs. Rena Caldwell, Kippers, and
two brothers, William Doig, pf
Tuckersmith, and Alex M. Doig,
of St. Petersburg, Fla,
The remains are resting at the
Box funeral home, where a ser-
vice is being held Thursday at 2
p.m. Rev. D. Leslie Elder will .of-
ficiate, and burial will be in Eg-
mpndville cemetery.

BRUSSELS — John Alexander
Work died Saturday following an
illness of 'Several months in Wing -
ham General Hospital. He was in
bis 72nd year. Mr. Work spent
moat of his life farming in Grey
township, retiring to Brussels
about 12 years ago..
He was born in Grey township,
the son of the late William Work
and the former Jane Robb. He
was a member of Melville Pres-
byterian Church, where he served
on the board, of managers, and was
also a member of the church ses-
sion at the time of his death.
Surviving are his wife, the form-
er Mary Steir; a son, Graham; a
daughter, Mrs. George (June)
Baker, London; two brothers,
Robert and Charles, both of To-
ronto; and and,
grandchildren.
The remains rested at the D. A.
Rann funeral home, Brussels; -until
Monday at 2 p.m., when Rev. J.
H. `Greene, of Melville..Preshyter-
tan Church, conducted a funeral
servicer Burial was in Brussels
cemetery;
