The town's fresh hockey team, the Seaforth Generals had their season opener last Friday. Generals fall short in first two games Shaun Gregory Huron Expositor The Seaforth Generals had their home opener this past weekend, they fought hard, played physical, but with all new teams, a felling out pro- cess must be achieved first. The first game September 16 saw the Generals going head-to-head with the Essa Stallions. They finished their checks, however the Stal- lions who had already had a pile of players compete on the same team the year before were just too synchro- nized offensively. The Stal- lions beat the Generals in front of a fairly large crowd for their first ever -game 7-0. Then, 48 hours later back at home, the Generals tied up their skates and faced the Grey Highlands Hawks last Sunday.
