Born in McKillop Township, on Sunday, March 29, 1931, Donald George Eaton of Seaforth, was in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Racho) Eaton for 60 years. Loving brother-in-law of Cory Eaton, Muriel MacGregor, Catherine Racho, Blanche (Gerald) Moir and Gloria Racho. Also missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents George and Iva (nee Sheridan) Eaton, brothers Tim Eaton (Mary) and Ken Eaton, sisters Margaret Bennett (Foster) and Isabel McCowan (Peter), and by his siblings -in-law Wilmer MacGregor, Herman Racho (Marie), Stan Racho, Joyce Chessell (George) and Jim Racho. Don was a long time businessman on Seaforth's main street for many years, serving the community as an insurance broker. Visitation was held at McGLYNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, September 5th from 7-9 p.m. and continued on Tuesday, September 6th from 12 p.m. until the time of Don's funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment took place in Egmondville Cemetery and a reception followed at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156. Memorial donations to the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation, the Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
