HPCA holds public forums in preparation of Bill 41 Patients First

Preparing for the imple-
mentation of Bill 41 Patients
First, the Huron Perth
Healthcare Alliance has held
four public health forums
with Seaforth being the first
location on the list.
The bill is expected to
increase access as well as
change how homecare is

liams said the initial focus of
these forums is what he calls
a "key guide," which has
principals as an organiza-
tion, a partnership and
performance.
This is a chance for the
organization to understand
what the people are thinking
on the matter, Williams is
prompting this as an aware-
ness opportunity. He
encourages people to ask
questions and share
observations.
Upon receiving all the
material from the four loca-
tions, the HPHA is set to
regroup and come up with a
strategic plan in the New
Year. The best way to do this
is with the community's
feedback, said Williams.
