The sudden loss of Derek was made a little easier with the love and support we received from our families and friends. Dennis Chapman formerly of Pine Lake, Bayfield leaves to mourn: 4 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Also survived by a brother Ken of England. Cremation has taken place. Cherished son of Wayne & Laurie Nigh of Nixon. Loving brother of Erin, Emily & Aidan. Dear grandson of Gerry Leeson of Dutton; Nana Doreen Alexander of Stratford and Frank & Leona Nigh of Seaforth. Predeceased by his grandmother Marlene Leeson (1964). Adam will be sadly missed by his aunt Sheri Kompf (Stephen) of Stratford, the late Diane Kuepher and by uncles Brian Nigh (Karen) & Allan Nigh (Mary), all of Seaforth. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, extended family & by his great-aunt Marlene Alles of Stratford. Friends were invited to share their memories of Adam with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. A private family service was held with Rev. Paul Currie officiating. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe. A public celebration of life followed at Old Windham United Church, 30 Glendale Crescent, Simcoe on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to donate in memory of Adam were asked to consider Servant's Heart Ministries or the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise.
