Brenda Brown and Claude
Jones are two motorcycle
riders who have seen
enough of motorcycle
accidents.
The Lake Huron Steel Horse
Riders and ABATE Ontario are
inviting the public to the 2nd
Annual Motorcycle
Awareness Campaign on May
21, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Communities supporting the
campaign include Kincardine,
Goderich, Bayfield, Owen
Sound, Woodstock and Exeter.
Organizers said the event
is a chance for the public to
stop by and grab some
information on motorcycle
safety for both automobile
drivers and motorcyclists.
Claude Jones, the promo-
tional representative for
ABATE Ontario organiza-
tion, said he's personally
been involved in three
motorcycle crashes and
added the the number of
motorcycles fatalities con-
tinues to grow each year.
"Only through my motor-
cycle riding experience was I
able to minimize greater
bodily damage to myself, but
each of these accidents
could easily have ended in

my death," said Jones via
e-mail. "In each of those
incidents the other party
involved replied "I didn't see
you."
Through Jones' continued
participation in a public safety
awareness program, he hopes
to bring greater focus to the
motorcycle riders who share
the roadways, in order to help
prevent and reduce the num-
ber of fatalities of fellow riders.
The organization also
looks to better prepare
motorcycle riders, to ensure
they make themselves more
visible and safe while riding.

HOME PLA ►' OF THE WEEK
RELEASE DATE: May 1 - May 13, 2016
PLAN NUMBER 2-3-761
GREAT FOR A GROWING FAMILY
This two-storey family home features
a basement entry, with the living area
on the upper floor. On the ground floor
is space for a fourth bedroom, and a
kitchen area and three-piece bathroom
have been roughed in.
The covered entry leads into a foyer with
a coat cupboard directly ahead. To the left
is a study and to the right is the L-shaped
staircase that opens into the great room
on the main living floor.
The great room features a ceiling slightly
higher than that of the adjoining kitchen
and dining areas. The wood -burning
fireplace will make the great room
a magnet for family activities during
the cooler months, while a sundeck
overlooking the front garden will offer
plenty of space for outdoor living.
The kitchen has access to a covered
patio overlooking the back garden, ideal
for year-round grilling. The family's cooks
will appreciate the corner pantry and
prep island, as well as the L-shaped
counter configuration.
The dining area includes an optional
bayed -out buffet, always useful for
storage and serving.
The master suite, located at the front
of the home, features an ensuite with
double sinks and an oval soaker tub.
The walk-in closet will be roomy enough
for the most fashion -conscious couple's
clothing and accessories.
The second and third bedrooms, both
overlooking the back garden, share a
three-piece bath.
Natural light will flood through a skylight
placed in the corridor adjacent to the
master bedroom, near the linen cupboard.
On the ground floor, the double garage
is spacious enough to contain room for
storage. The unfinished basement, if not
used for a secondary suite, offers space
for a media room, a studio or a guest
room.
Exterior finishes include stucco,
enhanced by brick pilasters at the
entrance. Wooden slats form a decorative
area on the fagade. Trim is painted a
contrasting colour.
This home measures 47 feet wide by
46 feet, eight inches deep, for a total of
1,470 square feet.
