great night of entertainment

fancy footwork, timely twirls
and colorful costumes that
illuminate the joy, passion
and immense talent of the
Almost Famous Players.
The 12th anniversary per-
formance of Uptown Funk is
guaranteed to get your toes
tapping and hands clap-
ping. Share the news with
everyone that this will be a
night to remember as we
aim to put a smile on your
face and leave you with a
song in your heart.
Join us to experience
entertainment for all ages
that includes numbers from
Taylor Swift, 011y Murs,
Bruno Mars and Megan
Trainor. We will be welcom-
ing guest appearances from
Matt and Sierra Train as
well as the Belmore Choir.
We will also be celebrating
the 80th birthday and retire-
ment of the one and only
Charles Buck, Mr. Louis
Armstrong himself!
Our performances will
once again be hosted at FE
Madill Secondary School in
Wingham. Invite your fam-
ily, friends and co-workers
to share this topnotch event
on Sunday afternoon, April
17 at 2 p.m. and on Wednes-
day and Thursday evenings,
April 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m.
There are no tickets to pur-
chase, however, donations
are graciously accepted at
the door, which opens one
hour before each
performance.
So get ready for a spectac-
ular show filled with special
performances and musical
favorites. Be prepared to
laugh a lot, cry a little and
come away with the feeling
that all is right with the
world.

NOON WEDNESDAY,
School in London this
week. The band per-
formed exceptionally well
and received a gold stand-
ing along with some very
positive remarks from
their adjudicators. This
Gold standing earns the
band an invitation to com-
pete at the National music
festival within the next
two years.
The St. Anne's Jazz Band
also competed at the festi-
val and earned a silver
standing. This group of 10
musicians performed
three challenging jazz
pieces and were awarded
a silver standing.
"We have an exceptional
group of young musicians
at St. Anne's that come out
of some amazingly musi-
cal communities in Huron
County. It is a privilege to
watch their hard work and
dedication to music pay
off" - Josh Geddis, Music
teacher at St. Anne's.
The music program at
St. Anne's continues their
busy spring season with
several small perfor-
mances in April. Their
musical performance sea-
son concludes on Friday,
May 13th with their
annual May Melodies con-
cert at 6:30pm in the gym.
Admission is $5, children
under 12 are free.
