Avery Natalie Anne Hayes born on January
22, 2016 at Guelph General Hospital. Second
granddaughter for John and Della Bennett
and Doug and Helen Hayes. Spoiling
privileges to great grandma Hayes, as well
as Aunt Lisa, Uncle Scott, Uncle Nick and
Auntie Erin. Soon to be playmate of cousins
Bennett, Maddex, Keaton, Gage and Rowan.

MacRAE, Don - Passed away peacefully
at Mitchell Nursing Home on March 11,
2016. Born in Bornish, Ontario on
November 17, 1921, Donald James
MacRae, formerly of Dublin and Clinton,
was in his 95th year. Survived by his wife
Eyvonne `Bonnie' MacRae (formerly
Schneider) and her family. Loving father of
Michael (Patricia) MacRae of RR#3
Goderich. Also survived by his sister Anne
Hatton of Alberta, daughter-in-law Marg
MacRae of London and son-in-law lan
Jackson of St. Marys. Cherished Grandpa
of Kurtis (Yvonne) MacRae, Marcy (Randy)
Mueller, Denise (Kelly) O'Leary, Joseph
(Tammy) MacRae, Jennifer (Mat) Hoy, Ian
MacRae and Trevor Jackson. Great -
Grandpa of Memphis and Monica MacRae,
Cole and Kaylin Rose, Rhyse Mueller,
Owen and Kassie O'Leary, Ferris and Pearl
Hoy and Shayla and Cael Jackson. Don will
also be missed by his step -children, step -
grandchildren and many nieces, nephews
and extended family members.
Predeceased by his parents James and
Catherine (nee Morrison) MacRae, his
wives Anne (nee Connors) 1974, Eileen
(nee Davidson) 2012, son James Donald
MacRae 2011, daughter Nora Anne
Jackson 2010, brother Ken (Mary) MacRae,
sister Rita (Jerry) Gooding, brother-in-law
Al Hatton, grandson -in-law Jeff Rose 2006,
step -son Jim Willis 2015, and step -daughter
Sharon Pelling 2007. Don was a war
veteran, teacher, electrician, business
owner (Dublin Electric) and the Post Master
of the Dublin Post Office for more than 20
years. He was a long-time member of the
Dublin Town Council, Dublin Lions Club
and a Grand Knight of the Knights of
Columbus. He was on many boards and
committees, including Dublin Hydro and the
Retired Post Masters. He was the recipient
of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in
2012. He was known as the 'ticket man' -
never going anywhere without several
books of tickets in his pocket, supporting
various causes. Cremation has taken place
and a Memorial Funeral Mass will be held
at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dublin on
Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. with
Fr. Brian McColl officiating. A celebration of
life reception will follow at the Seaforth
Legion Branch 156 and Don's urn will be
interred in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial
donations to the Seaforth Community
Hospital Foundation or the charity of choice
are appreciated and can be made through
