HomeMy WebLinkAboutHuron Expositor, 2016-01-27, Page 2020 Huron Expositor • Wednesday, January 27, 2016 NLNT PAI�I?12 NEWS ONLINE POLICE BRIEF Three Dogs Found Dead At The Hay Swamp (BLUEWATER, ON) — Huron County OPP officers are investigat- ing the discovery of three dogs found dead at an area known as the Hay Swamp, located at the Ausable Bayfield Conserva- tion Authority west of Exeter. Just after 2:00 p.m. on January 16, Huron OPP officers were noti- fied of the discovery of the dead dogs after a group of rabbit hunt- ers came across the dogs lying in the ditch approximately 100 meters south of the intersection of Parr Line and Rodgerville Road. Upon inspection of the male dogs the officers determined the ani- mals had all been shot in the head. Two of the dogs were mixed breed hounds and one of the dogs was a purebred Walk- erhound. Two were light brown in colour and one was primarily white with light brown patches.
