And it's not too late to start - for the rest of January there is a contest that will help you stay motivated so you can reach your goal. And, you could end up winning a substantial amount of money. Contest features two grand prizes of $2,500 each. There are categories for people looking to quit, to cut back or to stay smoke free. The contest is open to young adults between the ages of 18 and 29 and post -secondary stu- dents of all ages. Register by January 24 at www. wouldurather.ca. "Quitting is a process, not an event, and it's important to get support," said Public Health Pro- moter Sam Docherty from the Huron County Health Unit. "Not only is joining the wouldurather contest a good way to make a quit attempt with friends, fam- ily or peers for the chance to win cash, it's also effec- tive in helping smokers to quit." The Health Unit wants to support Huron County smokers in their quit attempts. For more infor- mation on local quit smok- ing supports and services available, please contact the Huron County Health Unit at 519-482-3416 or toll free at 1-877-837-6143. u u.mill/Vol ter Quality Water Is OurOnlyBusiness Softeners, Problem Water Equipment MaintenanceTo All Makes, Water CoolerSales or Rentals, Delivery Across Huron, Perth& Bruce Counties.
