The breakfasts are held monthly, except in the sum- mer months. As of January, the breakfasts will be the second Sunday of each month from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Auburn Memo- rial Hall. The remaining breakfasts in this rotation will be February 14, March 13 and April 10. The compliments on the breakfast were flowing from diners, many of whom have been attending these break- fasts for years. Carolyn Miller exclaimed, "I love this breakfast!" Glen Ribey commented that it is, "the best darned breakfast you can buy." Deb Sowerby's reaction was, "Wow! Just wow." This does not surprise Deb MacAdam as she states, "It's always very good." Bill Black added, "There is lots of good work done at the centre by the Lions." Mamararus Bakker is one of the cooks working the pancake griddle. He states, "It is going good today. We really enjoy doing this work." Travis Teed, manning the second griddle, advised that, "The Brussels Lions Club is aspiring to do breakfasts. We had them here this morning for a few hours shadowing us to learn what we do. We had a blast!" Teed has a message for the public. "We would love to have everybody and any- body come out to the break- fasts. This is what builds community." If the smiles, chatter and laughter in the room are any indication, the Auburn & District Lions Club is cer- tainly on track in doing just that. seaforthhuronexpositor.com MADE YOU ADVERTISING CALL US TO PLACE YOUR AD HERE Marking your milestones.
