Seaforth is opening
its doors to another
business, this new
entrepreneurial enter-
prise is meant for
relaxation.
Sonja Marzo - RMT,
an establishment spe-
cializing in massage
therapy is located at the
Huron East Health Cen-
tre and has been avail-
able to the community
since last month.
Marzo, 28, is currently
living in Clinton Ont.
She brings her privately
owned business from
Grand Bend Ont. where
she runs sessions on
Saturdays from the
Oakwood Resort. With
two massage facilities
Marzo is more than sat-
isfied, she said. After
graduating from D'Arcy
Lane Institute for mas-
sage therapy she
decided to get her
hands moving.
"I've always liked it
as a kid, I like helping
people, I find the
human body interest-
ing," Marzo said.
She also mentioned
that the feedback from
the community and the
physicians in the build-
ing has been
supportive.
With a broad range of
ages that can benefit
from therapy, Marzo
urges the community to
try it out.
"I have an 85 -year-
old man that comes to
see me and I have a
young 13 -year-old girl,"
she said, also adding
that pregnant women
can book appointments
for specific prenatal
massage remedies.
"I think it suits a lot
of individuals."
`Overwhelming' success for
Syrian refugee clothing donations
Special to the Expositor
Seaforth Manor,
Retirement Living and
Long Term Care and
Queensway, Retire-
ment Living and Long
Term Care want to
thank the community
for all of their support
for the clothing dona-
tions for the Syrian ref-
ugees. "It was an over-
whelming success"
says Christine Ozimek,
CEO of PLTC parent
company for both
Queensway and Sea -
forth Manor. "It was
such a great commu-
nity effort and so many
clothes were collected
and dropped off that
hundreds of families
will benefit from'
Both Seaforth Manor
and Queensway set up
clothing donations
drop boxes in each
home in December and
clothes were collected
at each home through-
out January. Early Feb-
ruary clothes were
picked up and dropped
off at Canada's Immi-
gration drop off distri-
bution center - New
Circles - in Toronto.
A van filled with Syrian clothing donations.
"It took two trips and
two full van loads each
with thousands of
pounds of clothing
dropped off," says Rich-
ard Sullivan, Manager
of Public Relations for
PLTC. "Staff from New
Circles came out and
welcomed us and
helped unload each of
the bags and wanted to
make sure that we send
their thanks back to
each community."
"Although this winter
turned out much better

than past winters, these
clothes will still be a wel-
come addition to each
family that receives
them," says Christine
Ozimek. "It was what we
intended to do and help
and the community
pulled through for us."
PLTC has always been
supporting the commu-
nities that our homes are
in and with something
like this we could not do
it alone. It took a great
community support to
make this happen"

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for providing the breakfast and lunch. Thanks to Boyd Devereaux for giving the kids a thrill.
Thank you to Julie Campbell and all the parents and kids from the Pee Wee LL team for your help. To all those others who helped
out in many ways with running, sponsorships or just getting coffee, thanks very much. A very BIG thank you to the two guys who
organize the tournament with me every year, Craig Metzger and John Steffler, and the new recruit and man who ran the Hensall
component, Kent Wilson. Another successful year. Heather Percival
