Upon arrival at the crash scene emergency personnel located an overturned buggy and eight ejected occupants. The youngest pas- senger, a three-year-old girl from Howick has been trans- ported to hospital in Lon- don with serious but non- life threatening injuries. Police have determined the horse drawn buggy was trav- elling southbound on McI- ntosh Line when a piece of equipment failed on the buggy. The road- way was closed for approxi- mately three hours how- ever it has since re -opened. House fire in Seaforth Shaun Gregory Huron Expositor Last week in Seaforth, the Huron East Fire Department attended a house fire on Church Street, between James Street and Centre Street. It's believed the blaze started from a dryer, which was inside the bathroom. It took two pumpers and a rescue van to maintain the situation. And from a recent interview from Seaforth's Dis- trict Chief, Tom Phillips, the flames were put out "quickly." "Thank god they all got out safely and it's a good thing, it wasn't any later, they could have been asleep. If it was any later, it could have been more serious," stated Phillips about the four occupants in the house including two adults and two teenagers that were unharmed. According to a recent Twitter Tweet, Sara Logan stated she's so grateful her father and family got out in time. The official damages of the house have not yet been released, but Phillips said the one room and smoke throughout the house are the main areas of concern.
