Seven-year anniversary passes for missing ACW man This Good Friday, March 25, 2016 marked the seven- year anniversary of Ronald Hallam's disappearance from his residence located on Prosperity Line in Ash- field-Colborne-Wawanosh Township. Hallam was last seen on his property around 11 a.m. on March 25, 2009. Police believe he left his property and walked toward a wooded area of the nearby Saratoga Swamp. A very exhaustive search was completed by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). The search involved specialized units consisting of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and the Helicopter Unit. A large contingent of commu- nity volunteers also assisted in the search. Despite the significant efforts of the OPP, family members and com- munity volunteers Hallam has not been located. At the time of his disap- pearance he was 66 years of age, 5'8" tall and weighed around 200 pounds. He is partially bald with graying hair. Huron County OPP is seeking information that may help investigators locate this missing person. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 1 -800- 222 -TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
