Cards of Thanks Cards of Thanks CRAWFORD The family of the late Donna Irene Crawford wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the compassion, support, prayers, phone calls, visits and messages of sympathy shared in our bereavement. Coming home to the comfort of a home cooked meal, dropped off from friends and family, was appreciated more than you could ever imagine. A special thanks to Ann for keeping the snow cleared from around the house when time was being spent with Mom. John & Sandy of McGlynn Family Funeral Home...your personal, approachable manner, professional guidance, and management of the funeral arrangements were greatly appreciated. The unique, beautiful flower arrangements from Blooms and Rooms struck up lots of conversation about mom, "The Egg Lady." We wish to extend a special thank you to Pastor Steve Hildebrand for the many visits that brightened Mom's day and for your personal funeral service. Hats off to the Egmondville Church ladies for providing a lunch just like Mom would have served at the farm. Finally thanks to Dr. Rooyakkers and the caring, patient staff at Seaforth Manor where some of the caregivers became like family. Thanks to Tom, for being a good friend to Mom and keeping her company when she was lonely. Our love and fond memories of our Mom will be in our hearts forever. The thoughtfulness and compassion from our caring community will always be remembered. Kathy is the dear sister of Maureen Looby of London, Marian and Nick lonata of London, Jaynie and Joe Nicholson of Stratford, Laurel Looby of London and Martha and Dave Martino of Grimsby. She is also fondly remembered by her LArche Stratford family. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Clayton (1982) and Kathryn (2003) (O'Rourke) Looby and by her brother Arthur (1983). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Kathy will be especially remembered for her love of the Toronto Blue Jays and for her many travels. She was extremely proud of her work career with McDonalds and also her participation in the 1996 Floor Hockey Special Olympics in Calgary. Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 50 Well St., Stratford from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. IC i' , Obituaries Obituaries WALLACE, Joyce - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on Saturday, March 26, 2016, in her 85th year. Born in Comber, Ontario, on Monday, May 4, 1931, Margaret Joyce (nee Londry) Wallace of RR#4 Seaforth was the last surviving member of the Londry family. Loving mother of Heather and Fred MacDonald of RR#3 Kippen, Richard and Laura Wallace of St. Marys, Pauline and Mike Mero of Seaforth, and mother-in-law of Lloyd Lostell of RR#3 Kippen. Cherished grandma of Lois Anne (Terry) Smith, Steven Lostell, Robert Lostell, Derek (Cate) MacDonald, Kayleigh (Brody) Pickard, Greg (Kaytlynn) Wallace, Aaron (Quinn) Mero, Kyle (Jess) Mero, Laura (Nathan) Mero, great -grandma of Kaytlin, Megan, Jacob, Jaden, Corrinn, Reece, Kyla, Denny, and great -great - grandma of Morgan. Joyce will also be missed by her sister-in-law Jessie Wannamaker of Napanee and several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her loving husband Doug Wallace, daughter Carol Anne Lostell, grandson Christopher Wallace, great-grandson Tristan Mero, parents Earle and Mable (nee Goatbe) Londry, brothers John and Harold, sisters Madeline, Yvonne, Elizabeth, and by many siblings -in-law. Visitation was held at Egmondville United Church on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of Joyce's funeral service to celebrate her life at 2 p.m. A reception followed in the fellowship hall of Egmondville United Church and interment will take place in Egmondville Cemetery later in the spring.
