IOTLY
10-INN'ING ON' SEPT_ 15T1-1: - 1896
Since our first inception into business we have, wi:tt .y few exceptions, tried to accommodate all
who carie our Way with as much time as'their pressing needs required, and our means would. permit, doing an.
out and out credit trade in every sense of the term, and if times and other things had remained as they were
in past years we would be satisfied to continue as we were even with the universally acknowledged unpleasant
feetui es -connected therewith, but some changes have taken place that make a continuance impracticable. Too
many are using credit; it takes too much capital, credit terms are too long, showing an apparent indifference on
the part of many who -are accommodated to reciprocate when theydo possess the means._ Stock sold on time
cannot be replaced without the money which cause the dealer a great amount of anxiety to make ends meet
and credit is fin inducement on the part of some to live beyond their means, revealing the" impossibility of dis-
criminating between the almost trusty and the.nearly not to be t • _ _

in our observations we niotice that a large majority of the thriving do not use their credit white A few do not use.
it to any important degree, which could easily be altogether abandoned, as it is unpleasant, unprofitable and
unsatisfactory, incurring from the out start a forever unsettled state of man's affairs.
Therefore -we. have decided

CONCLUSIVE PROOF:
. From a Well Known Citizen.
"My daughter Polly. has for more than a year
- been troubled with severe symptoms otkidney
disease. She had constantand' acute pains in
her back. The pain in her head was fearful
and almost nnendnrable. It frequently pre-
ented her from attending school, and she found
etndyat home practically impossible. She bad
nil -appetite. and'did not sleep well. The pain
was very severe around her heart and shewas
much troubled with fluttering and palpitation.
She was completely worn out in. body and was
tired and drowsy all the time. leer mother
and myself became seriously alarmed as she
was constantly getting worse. -
"Last July my daughter Sarah, a teacher in
the Public School at Kingsville. Ont., came
home to spend her vacation, and finding her
sister in such a distressing and dangerous
condition,- said. I am taking Doan's Kidney
Pills and they are doing me much good, I have
a box with me and will divide with Polly, which
she did. By the time Pollyhad finished the
hall' box her improvement in health was
,so marked, ,that I procured more from Mr. -
Praieigh's drug store.
Her full restoration to health and spirits was
rapid and continuous. She has now none of -
her former dangerous, painful and distressing
kidney troubles. She eats and sleeps well, and
for mare than a nionth has enjoyed the most
vigorous. health. She has not lost a day at
school stripe she commenced taking the pills,
au/1 has tio much faith in Ahem since they
restored her to full -health that- she wants me
to keep six boxes in - the house all the time, in_
case they should be needed -and not' available.
Iler cure has been so wonderful-shethinksthey
will cure any complaint. ' If the pills had cost
819:Ix) a. box, I would not have begrudgedthe
money. Tho restoration of my daughter to full
health and strong girlhood, from her former
serious sickness. etc , has made her mother.
myself and daughter a happy family.
I snake this sworn statement with the full
approbation of my wife and daughter, volun-
tarily and without any urging or inducement
whatever, to show the gratitude my daughter,
wife and myself feel for the wonderful cure
wrought by the Dosa Kidney -Pills. We have
not the least doubt that her trying the pills
. just at the time she did saved ne a large
. doctor's bill, as -she was . all but sick abed- at
the _time. I am sixty-two years > of ago, a car-
penter by trade, have been a.sesident- of 8t..

for thirty -years- and, am well known, and I make
