of ,Lucknow, for practicing:1- dentistry
without a license, and the case was
tried before Magistrate Thomas Law-
rence and • Reeve- Bryan. iSeveral
witnesses were txmiiined at the -trial'
but there- was no evidence to show
thatMr. Paterson had in any way
violated the., statute, and he was •ac-
cordingly discharged. SinCe that
time Mr. Paterson has continued
to do buiSness in the offiee, of Dr.
Tennant, but his superior werkman-
ship and skill in making teeth, has
