ure. It is to be hoped that the two
corporations may yet arrive at a mut-
ual understanding about this vexed
'business and arrange to build a com-
mon sewer to the river and thus save
money in both corporations.

of the council, among their being
three ex -wardens. Among these
visitors were Messrs. J. T. Conaway
and Dr. Scott, of Southamptoh, John
