The report of the Education Com-

that the reports of the public
school inspector be printed in the
minutes. An additional grant of
$381 was given to the Port Elgin
High School based on the proportion-

and town pupils. Kincardine got
$789 as the same gran for 1892.
The cases of Walkerton. and Port
Elgin for these years will be considered
at the December 'session. An appeal
from rate payers in Ripley against the
decision/of the Huron towship council

the referees being Judge Barret,
Inspector Ca.mpbeland James Gaunt,

The jail" and warden's committee
found the jail yards in most unsani-

a sewer from the yard was ordered to
be proceeded with at once. The com-
mittee also recommended that the
office of jailer be filled as soon as
possible. A motion asking the
Government to confirm the appoint-
ment of 311 r. IL B. McKay was also
carried, eleven members voting nay.
