Rev, J. McNabb, Assisted the Rev.
Dr.' McKay, of Chalmer's church,
Kincardine township at the commun-
ion services last Sabbath, and was on
Friday evening at- a meeting of the

dress was read by Mr. Duncan Camp-
bell, one of the elders of the congrega-
tion, and the presentation made by
Mrs. Campbell:

REV. AND DEAR SIR,—It affords us
mucb pleasure to address a few words
to yeu 011 this occasion as you are
again permitted in' the kind providence
of God to come into our midst to pro-
claim tta.us the word .of life. We are
again reminded of the diligent and
faithful services rendered by you to 1,
this and to the other congregation
connected with us, during the recent
time we have been without a. pastor.

in procuring regular supply for us, you.

your duties until we,' together with
the united congregation, have the
privilege of having a stated pastor
placed over us in the Lord. •We trust

IN THE MIDST OF LIFE.
On Saturday morning last John
Stewart, third son of Mr. John
Stewart, of Benmiller, died at Ihis
boarding house in this town, after an
illness of scarcely a week. He had
been in his usual good health up to
Sunday morning, when he complained
of a severe headache, which he thought
would wear away, but feeling no
better on Monday, did not go to w'ork,
and on Tuesday consulted a physician,
