every one to keep cool ; but
how ? That is the question.
The condition of the mina
influences the condition of the

to keep cool it is necessary
that the mind should be free
from worry and e7citemeht.
But the clothing a person
wears has also a great deal to

is this factespecially that we
desire to impress. We have
the godds required and it is to

The continued drought is 'causing
unueh..uneasiness among • the farmers.
Some of whom are starting to summer-
fallow fields in which spring grain has
been sown.
Mr. R. Kennedy had a • logging bee
on his farm on the 9th con. last week.
We to derstand that almost all were
well satisfied ; Bob having a good day's

Harris visits the 10th occasionally ;
but, of course, that. is all right tor
Tom 'might. be found in far worse
places.
Say lads ! its about time thett you
were securing your girls for the 12th.
We hear that' one of the 10th boys
has been trying to get one, but we
didnn't hear that he was successful.
However, we would just say to Bill,
if at first y'ou don't succeed, try again.
We attended the farmers' picnic on
the 10th inst, and enjoyed it 'very j
much, but we think that a few More
amusements would net be out of place.
The addition to Mr; J. Sutherland's
harn is completed band is quite anim-
provement both in appearance and con-
venience of the farm.
On Wed'hesday evening'of last week
the youngpeople of the, neighborhood
tested the'solidity of the new floor by
enjoying an old time dance. The even -

ably as they generally. do on the sixth
