from 20 per cent. to $30 per head ;
'cattle over 1 year bid from 20 *per
cent. to $10 per head ; cattle under 1

$1.50 a head instead of 20 per cent. ;
sheep over a year old will be taxed
$1.50 a head instead of •26 per cent. ;.
under 1 year old, 75 cents a' ;head,
instead pf 20 per cent. ; all other
animals remain as now -20 per 'cent.
Hay will be taxed $4 a ton, instead of
$2 ; eggs; now free, will pay .t tax of
5 cents a dozen,,; barleyr, 30 cents a
bushel, in ,place of 10 cents ; lax seed,
25 cents a bushel. And so,on, through-
out the entire li§t. The taxes on oats,
oatmeal, cheese, beans, (miens, apples,i
potatoes, poultry, straw, ,and every'
• other farm product. have been increased.
Nickel will be free ; that will help.tlle
mines at Setlbtn•y, Ont., where there
'is a rich "find." •A duty of cent per
pound is put on fresh and.salted fish,
nosy adnutted to the,States free. On
the other hand, .tlle fresh ,lsh caught
in the western lakes are .duty, free,
provided they vire tt�ken in pets, seines;
boats, etc., of American ownership.
The labor may be performed by •Cana-
