•Pito BADLY the strongest oandidate,
for a Cabinet position in Ontario is
Mr. Ballatityre, M. P. P. for South
Perth. Not only is he a represen- •
lative of one of the chief branches of
agriculture, but may be said to be,
more than anyone in the west, the•
instigator of our extensive and profit-
able cheese industry. Outside of his
own obunty many influential- journals.
are advoeating his claims, and but
that he himself is naturally so little •
ap!1 to assert his own. merits in such
caseseit.is likely that he would have
seen.a member of the Ontario Cabinet'
years, ago. There is no part of their
profit's which farmers in Ontario look
to with greater hope than the incoine
from darying, and there is no man to
whom therlOok with, greater grad.'
tilde, or -whose advancement would be
a sourse of greater satisfaction to them-
as a class, than such a „dairy. pigneer
