In the reign of James I. of Scotland
there was born in East Lothia, a villa,ge

Report of the Meeting at Dungannon

The West Huron Farmers' Insti-
tute held its meeting at Dungannon
Kernighan, the president, oc aupied
the chair, and addressed the meeting
in his usual able manner: There were
present about 40 of the most intelli-
gent farmers of the Riding, besides a
number of the most prominent busi-
ness men of the place.
A long and interesting disr.'ussion
took place on the action of the •1-.47-
ernment in procuring 2 ,revved barley
seed for the farriers. siketha close of
Linklater, seconded' by H. Morri9,
that the thanks of this institute be
tendered the Government.. for its Diction
in procuring the seed barley, but that
the price is excessive and should be t2

- Mr. John Hannah. now . took th
platform and introduced the creamery
question, speaking for an hour or more,
Mr. Hannah was plied with questions
from all parts 'Of "the meeting -Miff- a -
profitable discussion,' followed. Mr.
Hannah believes that all the, cream
should .be made to rise inside of 24
hours from time of setting, and to ac-
con)plish this the water should be
